Changes in Life
If I could change one thing in life,
I’d change one little thing.
It has nothing to do with the clothes I
Wear or what I watch on TV.
I’d change the way I think of life,
Change the way I see.
I’d look for the beauty in life
To set this captive free.
I’d look at nature and moon-lit nights,
Casting a heavenly glow.
I’d look at storms and cloudy skies
And mountains laden with snow.
I’d stop and look in the mirror
And see a beautiful thing.
I’d see what I was meant to be and
What miracles God can bring.
I’d look for inner beauty so
One day I may see,
There’s nothing wrong with this body.
I’m the way I’m supposed to be!
I’d change one little thing.
It has nothing to do with the clothes I
Wear or what I watch on TV.
I’d change the way I think of life,
Change the way I see.
I’d look for the beauty in life
To set this captive free.
I’d look at nature and moon-lit nights,
Casting a heavenly glow.
I’d look at storms and cloudy skies
And mountains laden with snow.
I’d stop and look in the mirror
And see a beautiful thing.
I’d see what I was meant to be and
What miracles God can bring.
I’d look for inner beauty so
One day I may see,
There’s nothing wrong with this body.
I’m the way I’m supposed to be!
